Gold season starts in Montana

The snow in the areas that I hunt for gold at are finally open enough to get to, so tomorrow I'm going to the Yaak to pull my dredge out and take to my other area where I have found coarse chunky gold that hasn't moved very far. The source is still around close by. That source is my goal for this season. Good luck to all of the gold diggers out there, may your pans show color!

I have been waiting to hear how you have been doing this year, it's either not worth mentioning, or, you are finding so much that you haven't been able to break away and update us here. I neeed to get out and see if the snow is melted enough to get in to the area that I want to check out. I took the goldbug out a week ago east of Helena but I only found the usual junk.
