I've not gotten a test kit, yet, because I expected them to be in the $40-60 range, and couldn't justify the cost to test the occasional ring.
Turns out they can be had, with free shipping, for a whopping $14.20 on the popular auction sites. That's a couple handsful of clad. I'm excited to have mine come in this week.
Sure gonna make life easier for those small rings that I've wondered about!
Anyone have experience "scratching" their jewelry on the pad with these things? does it damage the jewelry, or is it pretty much an invisible mark? I'm figuring it doesn't take much scratch material...
