Goldmask 3 in place of a T-2 SE

I have a T-2..Had been thinking, once it came back from Teknetics with a clean bill of health, give someone a good deal and hustle down and get a T-2SE version..I was told that the girl who "tested" it said everything was fine..Quarter at seven inches[ air test], volume, needing to be turned up to hear it.And numerics at about half scale...I discussed this with a repair technician...I even made them an offer by e mail, $600 trade for the T-2 in the shop, give me a dealer mark down and I'll send $400.in and get an SE model..No reply, heck, I'm easy. In the mean time. I've been seeing some great things about the Bulgarian Gold Mask 3 versions, and a Polish detector that runs like a 427 AC Cobra...I love the ability of the T-2's to be very user friendly...I just want to hunt and curse back down the hole in Mandarin..What's wrong with that I, also, prefer American companies....
