Welcome! You have a few good beaches near you. The one right there at Goleta where the road heads inland to Buellton. Refugio is another one close by. As for the stage route, you talking about the Butterfield one that runs from Cold Springs to Santa Maria? Most if it goes over private land so get permission. The old stage stops are historical sites and off-limits, as are the missions. I've hunted in the Santa Ynez valley a bit but with only marginal success in the common parks and schools. Private sites have been better.
