Today I picked up my two boxes of halves and then stopped at another bank to pick up some pennies and nickels. The last banks teller saves all her customer rolled coins for me and I usually buy them all (quarters, dimes nickels pennies halfs if they have them). She tells me some older guy came in with a bunch of coins, but I only had enough for the nickels and pennies. Anyway here are the totals:
Halves:
1st box skunk
2nd box had a '64 on top a 40% and a proof 40%but I couldn't see the date.
1 walker '29s my first walker since January
1 Ben 53d
2 1964 JFK
18 40%
1 40% proof 1970s my second ever
1 NIFC 2003d
1 2003s clad proof
Penny and nickels:
I noticed 4 nickel rolls that were older gray colored and 4 penny rolls that were old pink colored.
The first nickel roll I opened had 33 pre 60 and 1 silver war nickel
The other 3 were solid '64d bu nickels
The pennies were solid copper 64 and earlier in mostly bu condition and the last one had 15 wheaties in them.
You can bet I will be there early Monday to get the dimes and quarters. Maybe they will all be 64 and before like the others.
