This was a great day for the wife and me. Any and all help identifying these is appreciated. The very first artifact is a incredibly dense stone it was so heavy and smooth at first i thought it was a chuck of metal? I have in-situ of 3 of these but they are on my phone and i cant find my cord....

I wonder if this one could be a Grand? It looks like it in the book.

I agree after a little more investigation it is definitely hematite.

That's a awesome day :icon_thumright:

You did great Tret.... I've decided not to venture anymore into guessing or commenting on what types of artifacts you or anyone has. Keep up the good work bud!

I have one in my book that is similar and it is a Hopewell also in the book the pink one resembles a Hemphill.

Your hard and dense stone piece is indeed Hematite and is either the beginnings of a Celt or one that is busted up a little.

The first point you posted has the look of a Graham Cave and is definitely an Archaic type Point.

The other whole point is a Hopewell type and could be a Snyders, a Grand, or a variant there of.

The other pieces look like a few Scrapers and some broken pieces.

Very nice haul!!!

The In-situ pics i promised.
