Good hunt with one ???

Found some interesting items on a quick afternoon hunt at a colonial site. An escutcheon plate that’s pretty early a couple of buttons and a bronze nail with a large eye. I think it may be part of a drawer pull. I put it together with a backing plate I found a month ago at the same site and it looks like it fits.

It's not part of that drawer pull because they had a thread type attachment. I've had one of those items & I can't place it right now....
