Good Medicine

Yes today turned out to be a wonderful day,as I got out way early for a round trip to southern Colorado and back today. I saw turkeys, deer and buffalo rolling in the dust. I even saw some Aspen leaves beginning to change to a light green and some yellow. Those are the kind of signs I like to see, as it says summer is beginning to slip away now. I even for the heck of it took the high road home and the climate up there was so cool and refreshing. Trips like this one are good medicine for me, plus it sure beats the heck out of seeing a urologist yesterday. That trip sucked

Beautiful pictures! It is nice Colorado has had a little rain to green it up some! I sure like the turkey picture. When I was younger I learned Bison can’t see that well and walked through a herd. I was pretty foolish but they didn’t seem to notice me. Glad you enjoyed the very nice day!

The first time I ever seen buffalo we went down to Land Between the Lakes and came across some that were behind an old rusty fence. We came right up to the biggest one. It was huge. Mr WD honked the horn to try and spook it. I was ticked! Hollered at him. Totally freaked me out. The buffalo didn't even flinch.


Looks like it was a beautiful drive!
