Noobie here. Just starting out looking at buying a Garrett AT Pro for my first....all terrain anywhere.....sure would like a Atx pulse but for 2 grand would not be wise for my first I think....lolol

Welcome from your neighbor to the west. The ATX is a powerful detector, but has little discrimination abilities. For a first detector that can be used in areas of high trash concentrations, the AT Pro might fit the bill. Give me a call if I can answer any questions for you.
