Good News and Bad News

Yesterday I went to one of my favorite fields. We had had close to 2 inches of rain over the weekend. When I got there I found tracks. This is the first time I have ever found tracks in this part of the field. There are 2 areas of the field that have artifacts, one close to the road and one on the far side of the field. The tracks were by the road. I looked it and found 2 nice points and some brokes. I decided I would go to the other side by a different way than I normally go because I could go through an area of the field that is not plowed and if anybody followed my tracks they would not find the other site. That is when I found the big point. It is 41/2 inches and nice! When I got to the other area, it had been looked. I still found the small point. Although I found some good points I was crushed that somebody else had looked it. I can only imagine what he found.

Although I found some good points I was crushed that somebody else had looked it. I can only imagine what he found.

I've had that same feeling before, about the only thing you can do (if it isn't your land) is get there before him the next couple of times.

You still did pretty darn well.
