I just checked my local coinstar tonight as a matter of fact. I got a washer about the size of a nickel. Kept it too.

All I ever get is pennies with who knows what on them. Thank goodness for hand sanitizer.LOL

Great find! Makes you wonder how it got there, and was there more silver.

I check them once in a while so far I found, pennies and a #1 dad round metal piece off of something.
Hopping someone throws some jewelry in with their pennies, I hope, I hope!

I found a 1943 Steal penny in the Coin Star reject slot this morning.That makes the 3rd.one I've found in the past year.

I know this is an old thread but hey, it's still nice.

I used to have a great thing going with a few girls at a local Food Lion. I used to always take my kids with me and I guess they liked them and by proxy, me.
They let me have ALL of the silver coins from the Coinstar for about 6 months.

Then, someone got wise and put an end to it but it sure was fun while it lasted. In the last year all I've gotten was a Euro 2 cent piece and a Canadian penny.
Oh for the good old days.
