Goodbar shoe company

This old sign is on an old store we are repairing. Anyone have info on it? Can't come up with much with Google other than I now think it's a regular shoe company instead of a horseshoe maker. I think it says Goodbar & Company but not 100% sure.


Anyone know how to flip a pic? Shows correct until I upload it.

One source says they closed, (at least one building) in 1921.
A mention of being in business in 1875.
