After reading the explanation on the Google Earth website, I'm thinking this is one of those New And Improved Features that's actually just a cutback in services.

Then again, it's free, so there's no point in complaining.

Maybe there's something we are not suppose to see. I'm a big fan of Google earth and I look at the Norfolk naval yard all the time. I noticed a couple weeks ago, that you cant see the aircraft carriers numbers any more. You can still see the ships but not the numbers to know what ship it is.

Have you changed your settings?

I see photos, you just have to check that box for google maps and photos because they swithced over from panorama.
