the gun hammer is most likely from a toy cap rifle made my Parris. A pretty neat toy rifle that was made of wood with a steel barrel that you actually loaded a round cork ball with a ram rod and the cap had enough pressure to shoot it a few feet. I had one when I was a kid in the late 60's and early 70's. Lots of fun playing Johnny Reb
