In a button back-mark book i have it says Kendrick & CO -1830's-(1840's?) it looks like Kendrick & CO only made buttons from the 1830s to early 1840s if at all in the 1840s! all the buttons I am seeing from them online and in button books like the Federal Infantry button they made in the 1830's and all other buttons i see made by them all state 1830 time period so I think your right on it being 1830ish.
