got a golden umax

I just got a Tesoro Golden Umax off ebay paid $237.00 plus $15.00 shipping i bid more than i wanted to pay but then i won it. What are your thoughts on that price to high ? just right should i have quit bidding at $200.00 and let it go?

I think you did well. What you paid was in lower price range of what good used ones sell for. I just paid a bit more than that for one. I've got a Vaq, but had to try the tones.

Hey, I almost went after that one on ebay. Looked pretty nice and I think you got it for a pretty good price.

A few dollars here and there, don't worry about it. When it comes take it out and enjoy it, should be a great machine.

You got a great deal! I paid $325[like new] for mine last year and would not let it go for anything less.Wish it had a manual ground balance so I could get better depth using my other umax coils on it.sam in ms

Well if Kando is like me i always bid higher than i want to pay hopeing it won't go that high and i get it at a lower price.......but i still have a chance to get it...........................................

Older topic, but IMO $252 shipped was not a bad deal. It should hold that value for some time and you'll be able to re-sell and make your money back if you don't like it.

As for buying on ebay, I bid what I'm willing to pay and resist the urge to get into bidding wars. If you're patient, good deals come along all the time.
