Got a good box of halves 11/25/08

Got one box today (that is all they had). Found 1- Franklin, 5- 64's and 10-40%s.

Best box in a while.

That box is twice as good as my BEST BOX EVER. Things are still very poor here in AZ when it comes to finding silver.

I don' tknow if it is just that someone worked this area hard and it has not replenished yet, or if there is something else, but my boxes are still terrible. I just ordered 4 more boxes, just because I wanted to add the 2008 and 2008D to my collection, and in the four boxes I got 1 silver keeper. In four boxes! That's about how it goes here though.

I also got 3 proofs, and 11 NIFC halves. No 1987's, but at lesat some from 2003 through 2008. Oh, and i got 2 of the 2008 and 2 of the 2008D. :-) So that filled in what I needed.

I have 2 more boxes coming tomorrow, since I'll have time on Thanksgiving to go through them. But then back to just pennies, as halves just don't work out here.

So, congrats on what you found. (I"m never jealous over it. I'm happy for you guys that ARE finding good stuff) :-) Good job.

Don't know why you have such bad boxes in AZ? Mine here have been bad for the past few months.

I would bet that at some point another CRHer cleaned out the area and now you have to wait for new stuff to get into the system, and maybe other CRHers are competing with you.

Maybe you can find a bank that uses a different coin courier company? Here Brinks is the main game in town, but occasionally I go to a bank that uses CWI (which are usually bad but I have scored a couple of winners).

Or see if you can get machine bags in banks that don't get alot of CRHer traffic. Those have always been my best scores so far.
