Got a guess on these 2 items?

Item one was found in my Dad's stuff. Is brass. 1 3/8" wide and 2 3/4" tall. It dosen't show in pics. well but the round part on the back sticks out about 1/16" and appears to have been hacksawed off something. There are no markings. Item 2 is a tie tack I found nearly 40 yrs ago in an alley where it should not have been. Also no markings. Any help greatly appreciated. Tim

The first looks like an old Zenith radio channel indicator dial.

The Lightening Z looks like the Z logo for Zenith. I think it is a radio Dial pointer. I don't Know what model it would be from, but maybe someone else here would. Here is a picture of one that is similar.
