Got a haul from a garage sale..

Stopped by a garage sale.. I was cutting though a neighborhood. (Shame shame )
When I pulled up to this sale, I went over and the guy said he bought a storage auction and it had a bunch of rocks in it..

So I bought all these for $35.
I don’t quite know exact names for each one.. but they are awesome!

I did some research. I believe the large white rock is “Molybdenite in quartz.”

And I think in that size, it could be a pretty pricey piece.

Cool rocks! I think I know what a few of them are but I am no expert... top one looks like calcite. 9th photo down looks like it has some kind of Micah in it. Rock on the left in the bottom picture I think is a pink colored quartz. Sorry I don't know enough to even guess at some of them. My great uncle used to send me rocks from Cali where he lived, the 7th photo looks sort of like one of the rocks he sent me.

Good buy seems someone who decided to put them in storage saved them for a reason hope they turn out to be some valuable ones

Looks more like mica in a feldspar, part of a pegmatite possibly. Try scratching the grey/silver minerals with your fingernail or a penny. Either way nice find.

I thought it looked like mica as well, I think you might be right about the feldspar as well but I don't know.

Hi, The last bunch you got seem to contain some fossil aswell ��
The one next to the round black rock in the middle is either a fossil shell or fossil earbone from a whale
Now I could be wrong, as I am no expert, but it sure looks like it ��
