My bank gives me sealed $250 boxes that they get directly from The Fed. I found the five Mercs in these as apposed to coin brought in locally...Still need to contact the CoinStar machine owner and tell him/her that I want to buy their coin from them...probably will think I'm some kind of lunatic though....

Yeah - i get those same boxes. Today my dime box was all 2k5 - D. My box of pennies yielded 3 wheats (46D, 56D x 2) and one '64 canadian penny.

Was fun though!

At the Bank of America I go to every week the merchant teller had four bicentennial Ikes that I snagged...then he told me some guy had brought in $800 worth a couple of days ago!! They're sitting in a bag in the vault. If anyone in Las Vegas has a B of A account, PM me and I'll tell you which bank. As much as I love roll searching I really don't want to lug that many Ikes around and it's too much to just buy and sit on.

Oh wow, I wish I lived in Las Vegas; I would buy the Ikes. Brings a tear to your eye that they are just sitting in a bank vault. I wonder in Bank Of America would transfer them to another Bank Of America. hmmmm lol

I asked our bank teller yesterday if they had any Ikes and she said that they did not currently have any. They only have them when someone turns them in every once in a while. Guess my timing was off.
