I stopped at a small bank to cash a check and the teller just finished running quarters for the local carwash owner. They left the doors open and I could see a partial bag of halves and asked if they would sell of the counter. She was more than happy. Oh man my boxes have been horrible so this is like heaven. I'll post the results shortly but here is a quick peek :headbang:

Coin counter bags are where it's at for sure. My best was $800 in halves, I think it paid out 80x 90% and 20 or so 40%. When they were in the back running it through the counter for a re check on the total you could hear the silver making its sweet music.

Wow that must have been an awesome sound! I bet if anyone in there collected, they were so jealous.

I think most bank workers just don't care. Just the other day I had a guy ask me what I was looking for, and tell me that he collects coins too. I was bummed, until he counted out his loose halves which included a Ben and and a 64.

Awesome find!!!! That 1920 nic is the pic of the litter. Dated buffs older than 1935 are rare in the wild 1920 is ludicrous!!! Add in all the silver, that is a wet dream.
