Got a question about coins

I know if the coin is pre1964 it's silver. But does that apply to buckles as well? I found 3 buckles 2 1962 and 1 1963. Just was wondering if I have silver nickles or not

No. War Nickels were the only circulation nickels to ever be made of any % of silver.

Silver "War" nickels were produced by the United States from mid-1942* through 1945. The coins were manufactured from 56% copper, 35% silver and 9% manganese.
