and yet again 40 canadian cents... one was a KGVI


AND another Indian Head! my oldest one yet! 1863 to be exact Its pretty thin for being one of the thick ones but i don't care!

Cassie slept through the whole box ... and my baseball card selling on ebay which i was pumped for. (sidebar, Bryce harper jersey auto 144$...) But that means i can go do some boxes of Nickels now!

i know right! thanks man. It beat Cassies previous best by about 20 years! ( her 1882 )... anyway hopefully i can go get the indian head book tomorrow and throw that one in there!

Wow - another great box and another IH - an 1863 this time - congrats!

Btw, now that you have topped the gf with this find you know now the pressure is on her to find something even better - maybe a flying eagle next time. Of course you did mention she got the box that the KGV dot (hopefully) coin was in so she would be the queen CRHer for sure if that coin checks out. Seems like it might be a long shot but we're all still pulling for you on that one man. Good luck.

Dot cent is sitting in a safety deposit box. My mom asked my why i was just putting a penny in there. hahah its safe till i can find someone i can trust to deal with it. i'll just let it sit for now.

Still looking for my first IHC. But I find a rather large amount of copper and wheat cents. Guess you can't have the best of both worlds

By the way, that IHC is friggin' awesome.

The only way to know for sure is send it into PCGS, NGC, or ANACS. Those three only. If you are going to sell it for dot price and if it is the real deal, it will have to be graded by one of those three companies anyhow. Just do it and get it over with. No one would ever buy one without it being graded by one of those companies and those companies only (no one else). Typically if one is to sell a high end priced coin, they got through Heritage auctions, not Feebay. Do it and let us know the results.

haha theres 6 inches of snow on the ground i haven't had the metal detector out in months. plus, the only thing my MD found was an old toy gun and some bottlecaps.

i do need to go through PCGS or ANACS, i'm just waiting till i have a little more disposable money to do that.
