Howdy folks,

I had a great day today out at my colonial homesite where the cob was found last week. I did manage another 1/2 reale. Unfortunately, I think I broke it with my shovel. It might have been the plow, though. I scoured the spot and even switched to my 6in coil to see if that could locate it, but no luck.

Shortly afterwards I found a Charles II half penny (1672 - 1675). It's a field coin, so it's not very pretty, but its my oldest coin found on this side of the Atlantic. Thanks for looking. I'll post a link to the video in the comments once it gets published.

Yeah, I was pretty stoked when it came out. I was hoping the swivel would still work, but there is some rust and I'm too scared to clean it off.

The little quartz Lecroy is a nice find. Late Archaic.
