Got in 2 More Hunts

Hello All. Dug on Sunday and Monday afternoon at two different sites, an old fish camp and a vintage home site...I've hunted both many times before.

Managed a few keepers for the coolection including a not so old Mardi Gras token, ammo, Wheaties, vintage tent rope tightener, misc hardware, and a lone Mercury dime...found the Merc under a steel bottle cap, I was pleased.

Hello pdns. No not a thimble that is what I thought when it surfaced. It's some kind of tapered threaded fitting. On the big end ID there is a splined shape around the edge for a male tool to fit in.
