Went out detecting for a couple hours. In this South Texas heat its more than enough. I went to an empty lot that shows it had a home in 1968. I had been wanting to hunt this place for a long time just never got around to it. As soon as I start swinging I get a good tone and out pops a 46 wheat cent. Within the time I was there I dug up another wheat and a 45 Mexican 20 centavos coin. I was ready to call it a day and make my way to my truck swinging away and I get a very good high tone in the 90's range on my F4. Im thinking its part of an aluminum can or a bottle top. I scratch the surface with my digger and see a glimpse of some shiny silver!! It ended up being a 1952 Ben Franklin half dollar. My first Franklin I might add. I left shortly after with a huge smile all the way home =)
