Got out with the "Ity-Bity California Sluice" today. It works great! It beat my expectations and actually found a fair bit of gold. You don't necessarily have to screen your material. I ran about 20 shovels with my small relic shovel, and it pushed out some rocks as big as 1". It would come in handy testing areas for gold, quickly.
