The name does not seem to be be ‘H. BOOAR’ as you said in your other post, but ‘H. BOOGAR’. I would be pretty sure that’s Harry Boogar, born 20 February 1868 and died 23 January 1920.

He married Gertrude Sweeny in Gloucester, New Jersey in 1892 and then moved to California sometime before 1905 where he worked as a fruit and produce salesman. Although his death is recorded in the New Jersey index, his obituary states that he died in Los Angeles, California and he was buried in the Angelus Rosedale Cemetary in L.A.

Your token is not listed in ‘Token Catalog’, but there are many obscure local merchant tokens issued in small numbers that aren’t.

I like tokens with the scalloped edges that is my favorite design. Neat find.
