Got ring #47 & it's Gold

Hit the beach today and pulled out this nice 14K ring. The other gold ring I thought was gold but turned out to be just some type of ring hook I guess (junk) . And the cross I thought was real old and it had writing on it after cleaning it a little I saw it said in case of accident call ?? LOL.....

What was weird is when I arrived at the beach I found a crematory tag apparently from someone's ashes being spread at the beach I have heard that it is bad luck to keep one (not that I would want one) and good luck if you throw it back. So I sailed it out into the water as far as I could and my next target, yes the gold ring

Nice haul!

Did you find all that with your Beach Hunter 300?

If so, would you recommend the Beach Hunter as a good choice for Florida beaches?

I sure did all 47 rings and yes it a awesome machine that if you like digging to china LOL

yes, plus the lights are a bonus red is iron you don't dig has never been wrong, green is coins and silver, and yellow is rings gold and pulltabs bottlecaps . I run my in AM mode and when I hit a target i switch to disc. and see how good the signal is.

You can buy the beachhunter ID older model which there are quite a few for sale at a reasonable price. Only trouble with that I found with it is the floating coil you have to hold it down underwater, but the only difference between that and the 300 is the coil nothing else...

LOL Thanks Cotton, well it fits on my left pinky (size 5 1/2) but I dont really wear rings I find them

Last month I found 2 cremation tags near Clearwater. They both were old and one even had Clearwater, Fla. on it. I also found the business end of a 50 cal round.

Here's to finding #48.

Yuk! Spreading the ashes all over the beach.... well they spread them in the ocean too from boats so it figures you might find one of those tags. Congrats on the ring. It's a beaut! Were you hunting IN the water or just the sand? I would think it was too cold to get in the water right now. I had ice all over my car this morning. I can imagine how cold it was IN the water!
