Well after drying out from the water and a long business trip I decided to brave the heat and head back to the woods where my last cut coin came from. Not having high hopes other than just getting away from the office I was pleasantly surprised when the first target and hole of the day was a nice cut spanish pistareen! Heck yea buddy!

I only had an hour so the rest of the time was spent checking iffy signals in the same area and out popped a few buttons, a trigger guard end, some lead and pewter and misc brass.

Not a bad way to end the day back!

You're killin it dude! Another awesome hunt, keep'em coming man. With those iffy signals I bet there's some more surprises left at that place. Absolutely loving the Colonial silver you've been posting lately.

A cut silver is high on my list . Probably will never find one in Florida. Going to visit relatives in NY, or Ky and detecting could make it happen. Great find!

That's a great find!!!

Another slice if Spanish pie. Good Job

Great find. Still looking for my first cut silver. Congrats!

I'll take quality over quantity any day- congrats on the cut Spanish and pewters

Thanks man...this was just a quick hunt...was not expecting much. Between yesterday's CW trip and today's colonial, I amfeeling good...now back to the colonial watering hole soon for the trifecta...1600s ha

Summer is your season Dan! I have my kayak ready and I bought an at pro.....now I just need to get my dump-runner truck running so I can hit the rivers. Snakes, snapping turtles, quick sand and brain-eating amoeba, here I come!!

Congrats!!

I wish you well sir. When I lived in and dug NC for almost 15 years I dug plenty of spanish silver, but very few cut pieces as well...geography is more key to the types of currency dug than most folks realize.

You're raking it in! I've been lucky enough to dig two half reales that were in pistareen date range, but what I want now down here in Louisiana is a cut pistareen one or two reales. Congrats on a great bunch of finds!Cheers,Buck
