I took this shot,tried another and the one in front flew off.I don't believe the one with white down flies yet.

Water witching is what they called it in Kentucky when I was a boy. It is dry here too. I have been wanting to go detecting but I am not gonna kill the grass.
Those young eagles can get pretty big sometimes.

They are as big as their parents.
 

Things have dried up here also, but that's normal. The creeks are running much lower now and very rain I've seen in over a month now. It's fire season now.
 

It's been dry out here also. Fire season is going, but the worst of it is the stressed trees have bugs in them, and the fir trees are dying by the thousands. Everywhere you look there are needles turning brown. Once that starts, the tree doesn't have enough sap to pitch them out, so the bugs slowly kill the tree.
