We had tons of rain a few weeks back so the creek has been decent hunting, but the real fun today came while taking a short-cut home on one of our four-wheeler trails. I walked right up on the first blade, while taking the first pic I noticed the second just a few feet away. After picking up the second piece I noticed the third still sticking out of the side of the trail. Three Rhyolite preform/knife looking things all with in a few feet. I cant believe they didnt get broken, you can see tire tracks all around the pieces. All in all, a good day in VA. Thanks for looking.H.H.

Kindest regards,

You had a good day! Thanks for sharing.

You had a great day in the creek. The creek I search is now so shaded all day long, that I've just about given it up until fall. Thanks for the pictures.

A super day of finding artifacts and great photos and great finds:thumbsup:

Now- that's cool- and fun and exciting! You had a great day- thanks for the show! Yakker

What a great hunt you had.

Wow, I agree they are probably pre-form cache blades, which means there could be a few, or even many more right there in the area where you found them. If possible, go dig them up. HH

Thanks, redbeardrelics. I found them on my own property, I haven't dug the area up.. Yet.. But I did go back with a 16" probe, didn't find any more. Can I still call it a cashe with only the three? Either way they will still get their own frame with date and exact location found on a note in the back. Thanks again for the response. H.H.

2 or more is considered a Cashe. Thats why I do site frames so they all stay together.

That's just the thrill of being out, you never know what you'll find. Cool finds! :icon_thumleft:
