It's been so hot here for the last month, that one just doesn't feel like going very far or spending much time outside, especially when the humidity is in the 80% range. But, I have been going over to a grade school that is close to the house, and hitting it for about an hour or two each evening, just to keep my "ear" tuned to my old MD. I never think that I will find much, but it is always fun to see what turns up.
Pictured below, are shots of the piles of clad and other items found. Some of the unusual items were a aluminum cross with "God Loves You" on it, a token from Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota, a silver ring, and a 1928 wheat back penny. That was a surprise, as the school just isnt' that old.
The coin totals were as follows: 6 quarters, 21 dimes, 5 nickels, and 41 pennies. Not too bad, considering I had done this school last fall.
