Grade this Large cent 1816

hi , I have no clue how to grade a coin. Wonder if some of you can take a look and give me any idea. I would appreciate it . it is an 1816 large cent. also where a person could get a fair price. I have had it with the dealers who want to give me the lowest price ,,,,,even below dealers price in blue book . Hey I know you have to make a living ,,,,but

Looks from the pics, it would grade VG+. Large cents unless in EF or above don't carry much premium (or a low mintage date). The 1816 cent had a mintage of over 2,800,000.
You probably have a $15.00 coin. Andy

The coin has nice detail, but the color makes it look like it has been cleaned. If so, this would lower the value significantly.

Thanks I appreciate your thoughts. If I wanted to sell this coin where would you recommend selling or putting it up for bid. Should I use the classified section on here or do somewhere like Ebay.
