Grandmas's House Yields A nice Barber Quarter For Me... A First
Went to my Grandmother's (95) house today to help my Uncle fix her riding lawn mower. Afterwards, I decided to hunt the back yard which is 2.5 Acres. My Great Grandfather farmed it in the early 1900's. He lived next door to my Grandmother's house. My first hit and dig to my surprise was a first for me. A 1900 seated quarter. Finally chalked up another first for me. That's 2 sweet old quarters this week. I also found an old salt/ pepper shaker top. No idea how old it is. I have hunted my grandmother's home a few times but not too much. Found some wheat's and that's it. The back yard is groomed real well. So when I get back from my next run out west I know where I'm going. This should be a good place to hunt for a while. I didn't have a camera today so I can't show you her house. Built in the early 1900's. Thanks for looking Ron
