Grandpa's Penny Rolls

Some of you my have read my story about 4 rolls of pennies my grandfather found at his gas station job. The only penny that was 'new' was this 1963D. It is in GREAT condition. Can someone experienced tell me what this would grade at? A 10 digit range would be fine? 50ish?

Sorry for the bad picture, all my cell phone can do.

Does look kind of shinny, and could possibly be the rare Braille mint. This really doesn't help does it?

I'm thinking about sending it in to have it graded. I know the picture sucks, but if there is a chance it'll grade MS-65 or MS-66 it might be worth it.

Re: Grandpa's Penny Rolls

Thd picture is too blurry to see the detail. It is the small detaisl that makes the difference between an MS60 and an MS66. LIttle scratches and things like that.

Can you post a smaller better picture?

Re: Grandpa's Penny Rolls

Sorry, no better picture other than this crummy cell phone picture.

Re: Grandpa's Penny Rolls

Save your money. A 1963d in MS-65 condition (uncirculated) is only valued at 30 cent.

Yes.. don't send it in.. save your money.

If you search enough pennies, you will find more uncirculated specimens out there. An uncirculated 1963-D isn't worth it.

Re: Grandpa's Penny Rolls

I agree, not worth the ~$50 to have it slabbed, I'd put it in a cardboard 2x2 though.
