Grandson Owen's recent finds

My 8 year old grandson is offically hooked on treasure hunting. We were detecting in an old CCC camp, and he found several items with his $60 detector.

Creating memories and learning histories. What a combination, Oh and not to mention the thrill of hunting. Congratulations to you both. You have found treasure without the metal detector.

When a new, young detectorist can find stuff like that with a 60 dollar machine, it show he has that coveted knack.
Some people learn and become good detectorists. But, some, very few, are born to find. He's got great potential!
