Great Bag of Pennies...Score!!!

After school today, I stopped by my favorite bank today as they had a bag of pennies for sale.

The wheats I found included:

1911
1917
1919
1920
1928
1930
1934 x2
1936 x3
1940 x2
1941x 7
1944
1946s
1948
1953d x2
1956d
1957d
1958d

As their coin counter doesn't have a magnet, I was able to pull 2) 1943 steel war pennies!!! I have now found 3 steel cents from the wild.

And the best find, I found my first Indian Head cent!!!
Its from 1885 I think, but its so corroded, I may very possibly be wrong...

A very good bag, indeed! How many cents were in it? That's quite a few wheats in one batch. Congrats on the Indian, as well. I've found only one in my boxes.

Is that common for a penny bag to be just $50 worth? My pickup bank asked if I wanted rolls(boxed) or if I wanted a bag as another branch has a coin counter and they get bags.
Debating what's best to find the good stuff? Bags from the coin counter could be anything-peoples dumps cleaned of the good stuff or it could be stuff people got rid of and they had no idea what was in it.

In my area, boxes are $25 and bags are $50. With pennies, I tend to find the most interesting/ best finds with bags, but its different for everyone.
