Picked up 4 boxes of halves to give my visiting parents something to do...

Box 1: skunk
Box 2: 1x 40
Box 4: 3x 40

Now onto box 3. Cut the top off and mom spots something good...

So naturally mom picks up the roll and mutters I hope there is 5 in this roll. I let out a small laugh, only to have mom get the last laugh...

5 bens and 9 walkers all lined up in the roll. One other Ben in the box resulted in 15x 90s

Really a wonderful experience to see massive amounts of 90 percent Silver half dollars ! I love seeing the hand shots with all that Silver lined up. I too have experienced this a few times , Nice Score !

Wow, Mom knows best even if best is cherry picking!!!

That is amazing to see all those lined up in a roll like that from a box! What an awesome score! Very cool. Congrats on a sweet box!

OH NO!! Now your parents will become CRH's too. Finding such a great score is going to inspire them into the hobby I'm sure. Great Find!

That is cool and bizarre at the same time! How does one roll manage to get into a very average box like that? Congrats!

Congrats to you and your folks! It's cool to see a score like that, especially when there are so many marked coins in there too! Awesome!

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn! That's awesome!

This is incredible, I've never seen anything like it come out of machine wrapped rolls! Must be the holiday season, granting miracles and what not. Thanks for sharing!

Wow! That is so bizarre. Seem so un-natural, as if there's a human element involved....liked Mr. Lui's...8-)

I thought the same thing! Just such a strange outcome all bunched up in one roll. No way it went through a hopper and settled neatly...

No friggin way could all those 90%silvers line up in the same roll, and yet no others in the entire box. I feel sorry for the coin machine operator who let those slide in at the end of the roll not knowing what he was putting into the hopper. His loss, equals your MOTHERS gain. Congrats to your mother, and now a confirmed CRH'r.

my 2 boxes on 12/31/2015 had a total of 49 Walkers -----and that was the last time I had a mega score. these occurrences can lead one to ponder things like "string theory", black holes, politics, the true meaning of life, UFO's and other small concepts. OR----------- let's just go with :censored: happens :dontknow:???:laughing7:

I've had a box with 8 90% in one roll before, makes you wonder if someone purposely did that (like Liu22 did) when working at coin sorting facilities, or if it is just a crazy coincidence... what are the odds of them all being lined up like that too? Regardless, congrats on an awesome box and roll!

Box 5: skunk
Box 6: 3x 40
Box 7: skunk
Box 8: 2x 40 1x 90
Box 9: skunk

$40 CWR: skunk
$40 MWR: 1x 40 1x 90

WOW great roll. Congrats!!!

When they fill the hoppers the worker may only throw a roll at a time in if they get rolls from a bank. Some banks do not have to open rolls and put them into a bag. I have seen bags of rolls being carried out by coin supplier. So if the worker dumps a roll with 12 walkers in chances are all those walkers will end up in one roll
