I sent my old Pro pointer in for a check-up due to the switch beginning to fail. I was quoted $27.50 for return shipping and for the check-up. I sent it out last Thursday and I received a call from them when I got home after work on Monday (yesterday). They are replacing the coil, speaker, switch, and something else and the total cost is going to be $49 so I am getting all the parts replaced for less than 22 bucks. What a deal. They sure do take care of their customers. Kudos to Garrett.

Not sure if I have ever heard a bad review about their customer service. Glad to hear they hooked ya up Loco.

I once called them about my Scorpion Gold Stinger. The lady who answered sent me a free discrimination pot/dial that was having issues....free of charge...for a 20 year old detector. About a week later when it arrived I had an issue with the wiring and called them again. Same nice lady answered and broke out the wiring schematics and told me the correct colors for soldering to here and there. Worked good as new...

Wish I could remember her name...she was pretty rad.

I just received the Pro Pointer back from the Garrett repair dept.. Looks like I got a brand new one. Mine was over 3 years old, worn and heavy used.

Could you imagine how many times you turned it on and off in three years. I think my pointer gets more abuse then my shovel.

It's my new back-up, I was lucky to get a carrot for Christmas.
