Nice chunk of gold

Congratulations on your first Gold Ring! :occasion14:

cool, any info on it such as weight, possible age, type of location found?

think there used to be a stone in the center? or is that how it's supposed to look?

Found at an old military school. I dont know the weight or age . Was also a civil war arsenal location. Found a U S cartridge plate there a few weeks ago

That's a nice, well crafted ring, looks to be an older design. Is there a karat marking visible on it?

You should pick up a weight scale for about $16 Azon, read into the .000 in grams.

I could see the potential to have a stone placed on the ring, up the value significantly, versus melt.

No carat inside. Think it was made from a meltdown. Has initials engraved inside the band

Sweet first gold, the top almost looks like a frame for a photo.

Gold is always good

The first is the best one...the rest ain't bad either.

That first gold ring is the "barb" of the hook. Welcome to the other side!!
Congratulations!
