Great day for Civil War relics. Buttons, 1863 Indian brass CW ring. Gun part and mor

Had a killer hunt at my Civil War honey hole in Central VA where I recently dug a VMI button. 2 nice eagle buttons. Keeper for buckle. Barrel band for Enfield musket. Multiple bullets and my favorite finds are the 1863 Indian head and Brass wedding ring with fake 14k engraved inside. both surely dropped by soldier as this spot has produced a bunch of CW relics with rebs and union finds side by side.

Nice finds, I have found a few rings that have karat marks I think denote the plating. At one point that ring had a nice 14 K plating. I'm thinking just like gilded buttons, there were plated rings.
I love all your old relics too.

Nice collection of relics Gregg, spent the weekend in RVA with family, but sadly wasn't able to break out the detector. Hopefully there is a plate out there waiting to be dug
