As you can see, the older we get, the less of a true adventure it really is. 
As children, we had vivid imaginations of what we may find during any given trip and a simple hike could become an adventure at some point.
Today, it's not so much the adventure, rather what we seek and what we find are the true stories. I still love to explore old ghost towns and other ruins of days gone by. Now I look at these left overs with a different mindset, not for the adventure, but rather looking back and trying to imagine what it once was.
