I have always known about bottler Frank Rotella, a soda bottler dating back to the early teens and into the 1930's. At first I had an art deco 6-1/2 oz. soda, then someone found me a wooden crate. Last year I got a call from someone a few towns over about a group of 28 oz. acl sodas they had, it was a shocker to find 3 previously undocumented bottles, one of them being a Jockey Club Beverages bottled by Frank Rotella.
Then 7 days ago this great sign popped up on Ebay, it was listed as being from Patterson N.J., which is often misspelled and overlooked by many collectors. Much to my surprise I was the only other bidder on this beauty, it's 36" X 17" and I'm gonna have it mounted in a nice frame after it arrives. I almost didn't bid considering the starting price, and I expected much more action considering it's previously unknown, but I had a great week selling non Paterson bottles and figured I'd get in on the action.
