Great hunt with the "CREW"

Hi everyone,
I had a real nice hunt today with the crew, TnT2000, KenPA and JohnnyMc. I managed to find a 1843 large cent, a nice flat button and some other relics (don't know how the '43 nickel showed up there though). TnT said the briars (monster thorns) were thick, well thick is an understatement. I just got done pulling one out of my finger and it took JohnnyMc the car ride home to pull one from his scalp.
Thanks to TnT for the invite and thanks to his wife, Mrs. TnT, and her parents for a great lunch that included an authentic Czech dish that I will not try to pronounce.

Nice digs Mark. That looks like a pewter spoon fragment you found there. Probably early 1800's. Awesome dude.

congrats on the large cent and the rest of the goodies..sorry about the thorns I know first hand how hard it is to remove the little buggers.

I keep telling you , you guys are spoiled.......I know I am after the last two years..............................

level one- clad,pull tabs, 78 jefferson....ibid
Level two - wheaties, indians, mercs, washington silver, ww2 buttons, etc
level three- barber dime maybe a quarter, eagle button, ...so forth
level four- barber half, seated dime, rare injun, nice colonial buckle.....
level five- silver dollar, civil war buckle, 4-5 largies ,reale......................
level six- gold coin, bust caps, CSA buckle ....
Level seven- Washington Inaugural (sp), 10 dollar gold piece,
Level Eight- whatever you find that you really like.....priceless

and you know we are always moving between levels ......only yoda stays at level 8...............................
