I recently purchased a new Vanquish 540 Pro Pack and had a problem with the re-chargeable batteries. They would not take a charge and I tried two different chargers that I own. I had a bad battery and after talking with the customer service person, he sent me new batteries. These batteries charged within 3 hours. I believe Minelab has stepped up their customer service after several years of questionable service. PS, the 540 is an outstanding detector!
