Don't know myself, but post it in American Indian Artifacts and see what they say!

Good luck!

Great looking piece!

Worth lot more then $200, I have turned down $500 on the bird pipe 7 years ago.

Well with him telling us 'nothing' about this "pipe" it's hard to tell a price. Just looks to me like a 16Th 17Th century pipe.

This pipe is the only one of it's kind ever found in Florida as far as I have been told and that it is any where from 1000 to 2,500 years old made of stone and is a ceremonial pipe. It will take someone who has studied the different cultures of this region to tell which one it is from. You do not see pipes like this every day much less find one in ones life time. I was blessed.

I just hope it was tobacco they were puffin out of that thing! ;D

That gives a whole new meaning to prehistoric Cheech and Chong

Ive got to ask . . . have you ever smoked through it ? I know id be sorely tempted to..just the once.

I would get some documentation from a reputable dealer, somebody from the local historical soc/museum or maybe a person from a local college or university. You need to get that piece of history insured on your home owners policy. I would also document where when you found it. outstanding find :headbang:
