I was looking at some estate sale pictures a few nights ago and I noticed this in a picture of old hockey gear.

On a whim I looked it up and was shocked to see this particular helmet go for over $250 regularly.
If I had gone to the same estate sale and walked by it I wouldn't even bother looking it up.
I paid $20 for it so it wasn't cheap, but I am still stumped as to why this particular helmet is so sought after? I saw other vintage cooper hockey gear like gloves and pads and such and there is a little bit of a market but nothing like $250 or more for a single helmet.
So keep an eye out for these, they can bring a pretty penny. But if anyone has some insight as to why please let me know. Thanks.
