Bought a bag of half dollars at the bank today and when I got to the bottom of the bag I see a odd shaped silver coin. Not sure if this is real or not but I’m hoping. Any input would help. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1543361851.761795.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1543361862.894439.webp

Wow ! I hope that is the real deal !! Looks like ancient Roman or Greek coins from 300 -200 BC. Do you live anywhere near a decent coin shop ? It's a beautiful bit of silver even if not actually ancient .

Yes there’s a coin shop that I go to. I’ll have them check it out tomorrow and report back. It’s from 86 B.C.

Looks like a replica. The reverse and obverse still have good detail, but the edges are perfectly worn, rounded... They make a lot of these replicas for fairs and events. Hope I'm wrong tho
