Don’t know about that one, but I’ve been told undergarment button were bone or wood until they started using four holed versions but who knows if that’s true or not. Pretty button nonetheless
 

Found this itty bitty button today! Friend said it’s an undergarment button from 1700-1800s. British I believe. Anyone got any other details? Thanks!

Not sure on use, but I would say more early 1800s than late 1700s.
 

That star looks pretty much the same as on an American trime. Nice looking button.
 

Cuff button. It may be a rosette, but it could also be a Star of David. Your location may hold a clue to the latter.
